Parties and Social Events for EastDateWest
Members
In April 2003, we had the first party for our
members and have had a party most months since.
We invite about 20 girls and 20 men and, for
a small fee, we supply food and drink. The parties
are held Chelsea usually in my flat. Everyone
is introduced and they wear a name card to help
them to get to know each other.
The
atmosphere is always warm, friendly and happy
as people talk, laugh and exchange telephone
numbers. At our first party last spring, Christina
met Peter and started dating. After 2 months
they came to the party and told everyone they
had got married! Two other couples have married
after meeting at a party and another couple
are engaged.
Our
members come from different countries and different
backgrounds with very different cultures and
lifestyles. Our parties offer a great opportunity
for them to get to know each other so they always
enjoy coming to the parties. Members'
profiles will only be available to members of
the opposite sex and members can withhold their
photographs from general viewing. Withheld photos
can always be sent to selected members.
