There

Here are Lily and Ernie's and Linda and John's
stories.
Lily
and Ernie
Lily and Ernie met at one of our parties last
summer. Ernie is 58 years old and lives in Bristol.
Lily is 38 and from China. Ernie had just joined
our club before the party and was staying in
London as he wanted to meet an oriental girl.
At the party, Lily and Ernie didn't seem interested
in each other. Ernie met several members but
told me he could not find a girl who would like
to go to Bristol with him. He visited me again.
I said to him "You met Lily at the party. Why
don't you give her a call? She is a brave girl
and open-minded. Please try her." Ernie did
and they met again in China Town. After 2 days
Lily called me "I am in Bristol now, living
in Ernie's house. We are getting on very well!
Ernie is a very nice English man. I like him.
Bristol is a very beautiful city. I like it"
I was quite surprised. Since then they have
lived together. They visited me in May this
year and told me they were going back to China
to get married in Lily's home town.
Linda
and John
Linda is 37 and from China. She has been in
England for 4 years and has got a master's degree
from a university in London. She is slim, pretty
and intelligent and works as a fashion designer.
Before she joined our club, she had joined another
dating club but she did not meet anyone suitable.
She was very disappointed when she visited me
and said "I can not find the right man in London.
I don't know what I can do. Maybe I never can
find my man." I told her not to give it up and
to be positive. She met some of our members
but, after a few months, she complained to me
"I think all the nice men have left London.
I want to give up now!" I told her "Please try
once more. There are many nice men in our club
but you must be patient." I then introduced
her to an American called John. John sent me
email after their meeting. "Linda is my dream
girl. I have really fallen in love with her!
Please help me. Ask her what she feels about
me." I was very surprised when, a few weeks
later, John sent email to me. "Linda and I have
got engaged!" It was in February this year and
they are planning to marry in July. Members'
profiles will only be available to members of
the opposite sex and members can withhold their
photographs from general viewing. Withheld photos
can always be sent to selected members.
